I love to look through full collections but I always try to edit down to the best looks of each designers season when I am presenting to my readers and for a more efficient reference archive. For full collections we go to the source, Style.com, but here I prefer to highlight the parts that tell the story best. Lucky for me today I checked in with Royal Galliano, a blog dedicated to bringing you the best of the runway, fashion ad campaigns and models in his clean and graphic format. Jean of Royal Galliano did such a good job with the edit and presentation that I will go ahead and use images from his review where he separates the runway into three categories – Men of Paris, Men of Italy, and Men of New York.

There is Fashion collages and there is Art Collages (there also grade school collages, but this one don’t count) dutch-born Lidy Jacobs is definitely in the Art category – originate from pornographic magazines and sexually loaded print ads. She then carefully selects these highly suggestive contours, which she later hollows out in order to remove the model’s individual traits. The end result is a beautiful and delicate web of highly suggestive silhouettes lacking any sort of personal identity… See more at Parrotta.de

Patrick Rochon is a Light Painting Master – his amazingly stylized and visually complex photography is created by using lasers to illuminate his subjects in ways that create an eerie, otherworldly feel in the finished portraits. Patrick has also taken light painting to a whole new level by building costumes of lights and performing light painting on a giant screen to create a unique visual experience. I love his work and you definitely should check his website for more stunning light paintings…

This ultra-sexy approach to searching makes it easy to preview pages. You can also select through various media on the left-hand side like images, video, music and news.
Two Door Cinema Club : Something Good Can Work
![cinema cinema Song of the Day: [2/26]](http://cyanatrendland.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/cinema.jpg)
This is pretty precious electropop from Two Door Cinema Club a brand new band out of the UK. Peppy guitars and uplifting shout-alongs back up the singer’s attempts to encourage his girlfriend to work on their relationship. It makes you wonder why he’s making such an effort for a girl who always gets what she wants anyways. Maybe she doesn’t believe that “something good” can come out of it; or perhaps what she wants is to be miserable. No matter. The song is catchy as hell and I’m sure the band is bound for big things this year.

Spanish brand Armand Basi, seems to have taken quite a strong inspiration from London’s Teddy Boy look of the 80’s in the creation of the womens aw 09 collection. It is hard to go wrong using the silhouette of the Perfecto Jacket, one of the most timeless pieces in fashion. The collection definitely has a rough/ bad ass edge to it. It has London street fury written all over it.

The Aurumania gold bike crystal edition is about $102,418 and is hand built, plated with 24 carat gold and hand-adorned with more than 600 Swarovski crystals. The handlebar grips are hand-sewn, chocolate-brown leather and of course a beautiful molded Brooks leather saddle !The Bike is fully customized, Limited edition of 50 and for this price, its Hand delivered anywhere in World! There is no breaks, of course its a fixie, but if you wants to add breaks its a $5,000 extra! lol just joking, but for this price, I think I prefer having a Lambourghini on my wall ! After its up to you…

Their collection thus far consists of fifty 24 karat gold plated bikes, a gold plated bike rack and the special Swarovski crystal adorned 24 karat plated version. As one would expect for these prices, their products are hand delivered anywhere in the world. The handlebar grips are made of hand-sewn, chocolate-brown leather and a moulded Brooks leather saddle provides the right nostalgic touch. You don’t like the crystals or EUR 80,000 is expensive to you! . [Via LikeCool]

Taryn Simon, Playboy, Braille Edition
The art collection of the C.I.A., cryogenic freezing units, braille editions of premier men’s mag Playboy and the only legal marijuana crop in America. These are but some of the images found within Taryn Simon’s investigative and particularly interesting portfolio. Plunging into her work like a dead weight in a deep ocean, Simon manages to colour in between the lines created by countless inquistive conversations and considerations.
Her work currently hangs on the walls of a few galleries around the globe, most notably at The Photographers Gallery in London until April 12, as a contender for the The Deutsche Börse Photography Prize, the Met in NY until March 22 as part of Reality Check: Truth and Illusion in Contemporary Photography and as of tomorrow, the OK Center for Contemporary Art (Linsz, Austria) till April 26th as part of the third Bienalle Cuvée.

A pretty easy photohsop manipulation, but the idea is really interesting. Floating Logos by Matt Siber -
The Project Statement : Inspired by the proliferation of very tall signs in the American Mid-West, Floating Logos seeks to draw attention to this often overlooked form of advertising. Perched atop very tall poles or stanchions, these corporate beacons emit their message by looming over us in their glowing, plastic perfection. Elimination of the support structure in the photographs allows the signs to literally float above the earth. In some cases the ground is purposefully left out of the image to further emphasize the disconnect between the corporate symbols and terra firma.
