Sydney based artist Dean Christ owner of Ubyka Studio created a new Cyborg Animals art series explores the concept of Biological weapons delivered by cyborg insects. Wtf! Seriously what the future reserve us ?! Apparently the researchers are now growing insects with electronics inside them, with possibility to remotely control them. Sounds like a nightmare, but as an Art object I think its pretty cool…

Looks like the concept comes from the pentagon’s d.a.r.p.a experiments on turning moths into controllable cyborgs. U.k based art mag has an interview with the artist in the current nature issue of ‘don’t panic ‘ . Read for yourself http://www.dontpaniconline.com/magazine/nature/dean-christcyborg-insects
