To me, Blackblack are the perfect realization of an adorably morbid band. The Dompe sisters, Diva and Lola, channel their teen angst into catchy lo-fi rock songs that paint pictures of paranoia and zombie parties, but which I assume are really about normal life as a young lady.

- Papa Dompe was in Bauhaus
- Sisters Dompe are Urban Outfitter models (see them here)
- the riff at 1:20 of “sophia” makes me swoon every time
- I think the band has disbanded
