PRADA: Standing On Line

Prada 005 PRADA: Standing On Line

The PRADA 2009 Spring/ Summer Ad campaign is stunning! According to VOGUE it was inspired by  ” ancient stone bas-reliefs and a desire to return to basic emotional and physical dimensions in classical art and early culture”. It was shot by Steven Meisel.

Actually, of all their campaigns, this is my least favorite. I find it looks a bit cheap. It looks to me like the whole thing has just had a massive amount of unsharp mask put on each and every shot.

  2. Cyril Style Says:

Im agree with you Josh, not too found about the retouching… also Jojo, knows that its Steven Meisel who shot the women campaign and that Hedi shot the men ( on which one i worked on set assisting the art director)

  3. Crosby Says:

I’d have to disagree with you both, I love the whole Cavewoman Couture concept, and when vogue said the campaign was inspired by cave art, I got it. Muccia’s a genius.

Let us know what you think !?
