Sarah Moli Newton Applebaum is a knit freak ! She creates knitted sculptural installations that emphasize an overwhelming array color patterns, geometric shapes and crochet patterns, her work grows into its surroundings like plants in the rain forest, and the gallery is at once transformed into a living space. The San Francisco based artist is using mostly knitted fabric and blankets. Full of colors and patterns, Sarah’s art is not really my type, but yet interesting….
