M83 : We Own the Sky

M83 is Frenchman Anthony Gonzalez, and one of the genre shoegazing’s most notable acts. For this track and the rest of the accompanying album he used only keyboards and instruments from the 70’s and 80’s with the exception of computers used in the recording process. The result is another example of what I call “future retro”. Taking us back  to the past while somehow simultaneously casting us into the future.
