The first of a proposed international chain for the Italian fashion house famed for it’s colorful fabrics and knitwear, open the Missoni Hotel in Edinburgh, UK. The six-story structure at The Royal Mile and George IV Bridge is square in the middle of some of the most breathtaking Old Town architecture.
Their signature Missoni patterns, zig-zags, stripes and bold colors are everywhere from bed sheets to table cloths, everything has been meticulously thought.
This colorful piece of paradise is chock full of heavy-hitters from the design world, including Marcel Sandes, Eero Saarinen, Arne Jacobson and Hans Wegner. In the rooms, gadgetry such as Jacob Jensen telephones and a Bang & Olufsen TV system.
Other cities in preparation: Kuwait City (Kuwait), Cape Town (South Africa), Jebel Sifah (Oman) and Ilha de Cajaiba (Brazil)
Photos from: Hotel Missoni, ElementalPaul & Telokaspo
The rooms start at $355/night

Hello,
You’re using my images without my permission.

Either remove the images or link them back to my pages on Flickr. You’ve provided a link back to my Flickr photostream but, just to be clear, the images are not ‘courtesy’ of elementalPaul since nobody had the courtesy to ask me permission to use the images. What you’ve done is essentially pinch the pictures I took and host them on your own site thereby depriving me of views on my Flickr images.
It’s cool that you like my work but imagine how you’d feel if people took your work and passed it off as their own. By re-posting my images I feel that that’s what is happening to me.
Cheers
Paul Davidson
