Rehab never looked so appealing as it does in this brilliant editorial shot by Steven Meisel for Italian Vogue, July 2007. Good work does not have an expiration tag and this concept is one that will relive time and again. Parts of the story told in SuperMods Enter Rehab was rumored to be referencing the madness that visited Brittney around the same time. Crotch shots and shaved heads may be a normal occurrence in rehab but considering the paparazzi style in which Meisel shot, its almost certain Brittany was definitely a large inspiration for this editorial. Looking back on this editorial is even crazier than it was to see it then because the super star cast including Lara, Sasha, Masha, Irina, Guinevere, Agyness, Denisa, Iselin, Missy, and Tasha seems mind blowing, all the new faces of supermodels in one massive, cracked out shoot! Brilliant content! See full spread on PaperMode
In this months issue of British Vogue you will find a great editorial entitled “Acid Reign” shot by Patrick Demarchelier. A exploration of hues, beautiful lighting, shapes and movement performed by who other than Agyness Deyn, Tatler Magazine’s new best dressed, taking the reign from Kate who has been holding the crown for two consecutive years. I love this kind of shoot; Studio shoots with a emphasis on lighting and the shape of the model.
“Art-Brut 09 is Maria Francesca Pepe first experiment merging her signature jewelry to Womenswear and accessories. The focus is in jewelry pieces that become handles, collars, pockets or buttons.” However Maria Francesca is far from a new comer to this industry. Having worked in PR in Italy, she has been attending fashion shows and mingling with designers and fashionable celebrities for some time so its no wonder that the likes of one of our new favorite Roisin Murphy and Agyness Deyn are already on her fan list.
In May we spoke about The Rootstein Display Mannequin Company when they were doing their launch for the newest immortalization of model Agyness Deyn, and today same news applies to canadian belle, top model Coco Rocha. So just like Agyness Deyn, Twiggy and Yasmin Le Bon, Coco Rocha now has her own Rootstein mannequin, which she unveiled at a cocktail party co-hosted by designer Richard Chai.
The model is the latest in a long line of models to inspire the Rootstein mannequin company. Founded in the 1950s in London by Adel Rootstein who decided still and lifeless shop dummies needed a seriously chic make-over. And the most authentic touch to the new mannequin? It also had Coco’s brand new hair color, auburn, which Rootstein creative director Kevin Arpino had to re-dye red just the night before the mannequin’s debut.
Moussy is a punk rock, new wave Japanese brand, for which Agyness Deyn shot their fall winter campaign with fashion photographer Terry Richardson.

It seems that other Designers and more importantly Editors are taking note with Katie Grand of Pop Magazine offering six different covers for its Fall Issue; three covers will feature white models (Agyness Deyn, Natalia Voidianova, and Amber Valletta) while three will feature black models (including Naomi Campbell pictured above, Jourdan Dunn, and Oluchi Onweagba).

Jean Paul Gaultier celebrated the launch of his new fragrance, Ma Dame, in London yesterday. His first women’s fragrance since the launch of Fragile in 1999, Ma Dame will be released this September and the campaign stars Agyness Deyn with Gaultier himself. [Cosmetic News]
An “unofficial” unveiling of the Agyness mannequin was held by Mao PR at the Rootstein Mannequin Gallery. One of the best resources for custom made mannequins in the world. The first time I went there I was in utter awe, it was better than going to the wax museum, kind of eery in the same way but phenomenal executions of the most realistic looking mannequins I have ever seen.
Agyness joins other model notables who’ve had their features eternalized such as Twiggy, Pat Cleveland, Erin O’Connor, Jade Parfitt and Karen Mulder. – Photo MDC

Had your fill of Agyness Deyn? Well, close your eyes then because this is about to be overkill. i-D’s May issue is dedicated to the former chip-shop girl with five, yes, five covers, including one nude one. In addition, there are editorials featuring the ubiquitous blonde pixie lensed by Terry Richardson and another spread by Nick Knight. But wait! We’re not done yet! Deyn writes! She took a stab at an essay on Vivienne Westwood. Plus (yes, plus), her boyfriend, Josh Hubbard, and mother also write pieces about Deyn. Okay, now is it overkill? so it’s out [Fashion Spot]
Above is the new Georgio Armani cell phone ad. Agyness Deyn is the model in the picture, but doesn’t she look alot like Christy Turlington? She looks great, but she also looks ten years older. Amazing what makeup can do, since Agyness Deyn looks nothing like herself in the ads.
Ad season is coming up, and I’m excited to see some beautiful fashion campaigns. Quick update, M.I.A. is the face for Marc for Marc Jacobs and Olga Sherer is the model for the Lanvin ads.

Patrick Wolfe is an artist to keep your eye on. His current album ” Magic Position,” is clad with infectious dance hits and melancholy ballads. His stage attire always consists of bright colors, bold wigs, hot shorts, and glitter.

I’m sure you’ve noticed him in these Burberry ads, with our fave model of the moment, Agyness Deyn
She has taken the fashion world by storm and is a successor to Kate Moss. Agyness Deyn aka Laura Hollins - star of London Fashion Week two weeks ago – is the one to follow! Famously spotted while working in a fish & chips shop – The face of Burberry and Armani is 24. We Love her style and how she rocks the podiums !!

This cover of British Vogue is a major mark in time for me. Its brilliance will haunt me forever. The over exposed light, the cool colors and Agyness Deyn’s face. I cant imagine a better composition…Perfection as i see it!
