What a cool concept for this ‘Signes Particuliers‘ editorial shot by Patrick Demarchelier with model Iris Strubegger for the August issue of French Vogue – I Love the fact that they calculate all the jewelry from each outfit to get the final price. Winner of the editorial is obviously Chopard with a total of 8 million Euro ! ( $11.4 million) – Via Paper Mode

Pixel Perfect Pascal Dangin the master retoucher

The NewYorker wrote a great article about Pascal Dangin owner of the Box Studios. The Box Studio is THE retouching studio, based in NewYork meatpacking district, The Box is working for every single fashion campaign and Magazine – In the world of photo retouching Pascal is a rock star. He is what’s referred to as a “Master Retoucher” – the best there is – and is working with such famed photographers as Annie Leibovitz, Steven Meisel, Patrick Demarchelier and Craig McDean amongst others…
He brings photo retouching to a higher level – almost giving images an artistic quality - and should not be confused with those who hack apart images for certain magazine covers….

In this months issue of British Vogue you will find a great editorial entitled “Acid Reign” shot by Patrick Demarchelier. A exploration of hues, beautiful lighting, shapes and movement performed by who other than Agyness Deyn, Tatler Magazine’s new best dressed, taking the reign from Kate who has been holding the crown for two consecutive years. I love this kind of shoot; Studio shoots with a emphasis on lighting and the shape of the model.
