After his covers for French Elle with the ‘no make-up’ shoot, its Peter Lindbergh again who shot Claudia Schiffer, Helena Christensen, Cindy Crawford and more, in ‘SuperModels SuperNaturals’ for the issue of Harper’s Bazaar September 2009. We told you a little while ago that the trend in retouching was to get as natural as possible, so it looks that the trend is now expanding to the photoshoot itself – and it looks great ! It’s also true that its the group of people in the world who need the least retouching to begin with. Lindbergh told the Times in May, “Heartless retouching should not be the chosen tool to represent women in the beginning of this century.” No retouching, no retouching; these images still went into the hands of Pascal Dangin and he at least cleaned them up and did some color correcting, that’s for sure!
