London based illustrator and stylist Sophie Stephens has a humorous and unique take on today’s fashion and celebrities and no one is spared. Her t-shirts for House of Holland feature illustrations of Brit darling Alexa Chung complete with pumpkin, the witch hat and ivy, Terry Richardson covering himself with a prickly cactus, and Luella, looking rather provocative with arms up and bare chest. Even her final year guerilla art campaign project, entitled ‘Style makes me Sick’ pushed the boundaries. Stephens infiltrated Topshop changing rooms everyday with illustration saying “No More Heroes”, challenging what we think is fashionable and making us rethink how we put celebrities on pedestals. She is a force to be reckoned with! Stephens has done work for various magazines including Love, Fact and Know Magazine, and collaborated with Julian and Noel from The Mighty Boosh to make flyer. The Autumn/Winter 09 Jimmy Choo campaign shot by Terry Richardson sees Angela Lindvall taking on a more rocker chick persona whilst still maintaining the power and glamor of the Jimmy Choo woman. The campaign takes its cue from the Autumn Winter collection which is injected with the raw individuality of the rock starlet, with graphic styling and clashing colors gesturing a modern, bold Jimmy Choo identity. The collection feels like one that has many wild nights to come…
I’m really liking Andrew Woffinden’s photography. I can tell that his inspiration is a mix between Juergen Teller and Terry Richardson. Andrew shoots for Elle magazine a lot and I truly believe that his shoots are propelling Elle in a new, exciting direction!
It’ sexy time! Italian Vanity Fair exposes the years most upcoming/desirable faces and bodies shot by Terry Richardson for the 2010 Pirelli Calender. Shot in Bahia, Brazil, a place that makes anyone ten times more beautiful, these fresh faces are channeling the all natural rays of bare sunlight.
The cast included Daisy Lowe, Georgina Stojiljkovic, Eniko Mihalik, Catherine McNeil, Lily Cole, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Miranda Kerr, Ana Beatriz Barros, Gracie Carvalho, Marloes Horst, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (my personal favorite ~ who is yours?) – All the girls were shot without make-up in true Richardson style ~ raw and lush! But stay tuned for the final shots of the calender if a few months.

The young, talented photographer Brooke Nipar has just relaunched her website and this is the third day in a row I go to check out whats on it, so that makes it a must feature for me. I have selected a range of her work that I feel represent her energy and style. Working with Missbehave Magazine as their headlining photographer for the past few years and for other alternative fashion mags like Nylon she has build her self a substantially exuberant portfolio of images featuring pop icons such as M.I.A. and electro-soul sweetheart Lykke Li just to drop a few names. Her image are raw and provocative perhaps drawing inspiration from Terry Richardson.
Ha Paris. Paris, my Hometown, is pretty well represented in this A Toutes Jambes editorial with Anja Rubik shot by Terry Richardson and art directed by Emmanuelle Alt for Vogue Paris June/July 09.
