I won’t even bother with an introduction or description here. If you are still unaware of La Roux then this track will introduce you to their 80’s 8bit vintage synth driven style. What more can I say, some think La Roux may not have delivered as solid a track here in comparison to “in for the kill” and “bulletproof” but t0 me its a HOT track. You may remember seeing a really cool video we posted back in May of musical duo La Roux, for their track “Bulletproof” (see here), and for today’s song I wanted to bring you another one of their ill tracks, “In for the Kill”. La Roux are a British electropop synth duo band made up of singer and synth player Elly Jackson, and co-writer and co-producer Ben Langmaid, with Jackson describing their respective roles as “very much a half and half sharing situation… not like a singer producer outfit”, but also recognizing that it often can “look like a solo act”. In an interview La Roux says she is influenced by a lot of 80’s music including David Bowie, early Madonna and Yazoo, but there are a lot of contemporary, mostly European, influencers in her world, who include Justice and other Ed Banger labels.
I am really feeling this La Roux’s edgy vibe and their music makes me want to PARTY!!!!
