As promised last week (see here), I bring you the new Stampd LA retail Mural, located on the exterior walls of Joyrich at Melrose and Spaulding, in Hollywood. This is the 2º Edition retail mural executed by Stampd LA and it looks absolutely Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!!! The piece is in anticipation for the new Bayside Shoe to drop, but it is a combination of the Numberd’ and Bayside shoe graphics. And to make it even better they have created a time lapse in which Dave Gallegos documents the process > see video below…

I drove by Spaulding and Melrose the other day, after having been in NY all month and was saddened by the blank wall. What was once was a mural painted by Chris Stamp & Co. for the launch of the Stampd’ LA brand back in January, was simply a big white corner. All the questions in my head lead me to the Stampd LA Blog, where I found out that the white wall was all for the love of art and keeping the streets of LA fresh & new. A new wall is in the making! Excited by the news I stopped by yesterday to check out what was going on…The new wall will be a combination of two Stampd’ styles; the Numberd’ and the Bayside Hi (ring a bell?) You can see the new wall formula below… And the wall should be fully up by end of day today!

January 30th was the official launch of Stampd LA footwear. To launch the brand Stampd designed a 3-day pop-up shop in Hollywood’s Joyrich store which was unveiled by the launch party Friday night. Stampd sold through more than 50 pairs of shoes that night and had a killer turnout at the party. Rony set up his photobooth on the outside wall which was painted by Chris Stamp for the event, in one of the signature graphics of the fist seasons kicks. All the party pics were taken by NOA. Along side the launch was the exclusive U.S. release of the All Gone book, which had its official release early last week at Collette in Paris. Step inside the Stampd LA launch party for a taste of L.A. style…

Chris Stamp from Stampd LA started doing custom shoes at the beginning of the craze of it all a few years ago and sold his custom designs to retail leaders such as Fred Segal Conveyor. As the custom craze grew so did the impracticalities of this trend, which brought Chris to the development of his own shoe. His goal was to create a more accessible yet still limited Stampd.
Stampd is anticipated to hit stores at the end January. Here is a sneak preview of a few of the styles. For more info and press release email here.

The Looks

We are thrilled to announce the launch of Cyana Boutique, an online shop from a stylists perspective. Cyana Boutique is made up of hand selected items of our favorite upcoming designers. Everything on the online is available in very limited quantities, if not only one. These items can be from past seasons or upcoming seasons that have not yet hit. Sometimes we get super lucky and we get our hands on one of a kind, never produced samples, those are the best! We all know that the pieces that do not make production are usually the coolest pieces which buyers are not confident enough to push. So here they are for the fashion hunters. Above are 2 looks from Cyana Boutique. “The Looks” is our favorite section and the foundation concept of the online. This is where people are styled in gear available online and shot by our favorite LA paparazzi, Joe. The Photograph is then dissected, highlighting all the pieces of the outfit and making them just a click away from purchasing. Brands available online: Aiaiai, And i, Art Force One, Epic Firm, Kanvis, Nic Nat, NSF, PHCY, Plain Gravy, Posso the Spat, Silver Spoon Attire, Stampd’, Toy Me, Unif, Vintage
