Most of us know of Nastia Liukin as the Gold-medalist who made a bright pink leotard iconic. In this ad campaigne for Max Azria she has come leaps and bounds (excuse the pun) from that pink leotard.
The 2009 Spring line was inspired by modern dance and movenent. Nastia has the casual grace that matched the attitude of the collection perfectly.

A new set of sexy celebrities have designed T-Shirts that will raise money for the fight against aids. Daniel Jackson did an amazing job of shooting these sexy stars. 25% of the proceeds will go to youth HIV/AIDS awareness programs. The creator Mia Morikawa likes to think of her KA/POW/WOW neckpieces as “little wearable sculptures… Strap on art!!” These wearable sculptures are inspired by jacobian ruffs & natural structures such as: fruit & coral and are earth friendly as well. Mia uses Freecycle to obtain some materials. She also purchases scraps from other designers, textile factories and thrift stores as often as she can. One of these will make any outfit stand out in a crowed.
