Take a peek into the fantastic world of photographer and set designer, Anne Hardy…I cant think of many things more exciting than this. To have a studio in which you build out different environments as you imagine them and shoot them as your very own unique worlds. I could totally imagine saying, as a child, that when I grow up I wanna have a room just to create and build my own worlds, an ever-changing museum of interior and cerebral inspirations, a place where anything can exist as long as you can imagine it. I would love to know ore about her process and the timing it takes to create each new world.

Emmy the Great : We Almost Had a Baby
There’s an abundance of lovely lady pop singers, especially coming out of the UK, nowadays. Emmy the Great – hailing from Hong Kong, residing in London – is a welcome addition to the pack. She sings beautifully over jangly guitars and well-used “ooh”s and “aaah”s. But her debut album ‘First Love’ isn’t as peachy as it sounds – it takes its name from Samuel Beckett’s disturbing little novel about a violent and misogynistic lover. And if you listen closely to the first single, “We Almost Had a Baby,” you realize its the prettiest song you’ve ever heard about abortion and maybe-rape.

Adele : Melt My Heart to Stone (Kickdrums Remix)
![adele adele Song of the Day : [2/7]](http://cyanatrendland.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/adele.jpg)
This in no way this sounds like an album of a 19 year old girl. Adele has described her musical style as “heartbroken soul”; pretty deep for someone that age, just the soul sound is hard to accept when coming form someone so young. Soul and Wisdom are almost same leveln for me, so it not something you can just throw around, but in this case she is well worth every letter of the word. 4 time Grammy nominated artist, was named one of 2008 most exciting artists and if you have not yet had the chance to see her live I suggest you jump on this tour. She will be touring from March 9th -May 5th, for tour dates and cities visit her Adele’s myspace.

PAUL SMITH has taken his love of art all the way to Japan, this weekend unveiling The Wood Show, an exhibition by British artist Richard Woods, at his Paul Smith SPACE shop in Tokyo.
“Woods is renowned for manipulating existing architectural spaces to create entirely new rooms. Using traditional wood block printmaking techniques on plywood and household gloss finishes, he covers spaces to create a new surrounding that is un-expected and entirely new,” a Paul Smith representative explains. – via Vogue UK
I love these pieces. The organic and natural feeling of the wood juxtaposed with the bold and graphic colors create an extremely dynamic presence.
