In this months issue of British Vogue you will find a great editorial entitled “Acid Reign” shot by Patrick Demarchelier. A exploration of hues, beautiful lighting, shapes and movement performed by who other than Agyness Deyn, Tatler Magazine’s new best dressed, taking the reign from Kate who has been holding the crown for two consecutive years. I love this kind of shoot; Studio shoots with a emphasis on lighting and the shape of the model.
Beautiful sheer chiffon’s are cut by strong, contrasting velvet construction pipelines which take us on a graphic maze of Christopher Kane’s journey of female anatomy. More concentrated than ever in his FW 09 collection Kane continues to deliver each new collection as his best. As I opened British Vogue to review his new collection from London Fashion Week, some feeling of relief came over me as I thought after seeing the first two looks that there may be some criticism to make. I was, however, happy to discover with in a few clicks that I was wrong and his genius continues to leave me dumbfounded, but more so than anything gives me this positivity about the new wave of fashion that my words have not graduated to describe.

This cover of British Vogue is a major mark in time for me. Its brilliance will haunt me forever. The over exposed light, the cool colors and Agyness Deyn’s face. I cant imagine a better composition…Perfection as i see it!
