Topshop Unique’s Collection for SS09 is a total blast form the past with a few different stories to be told. Yet another sign that hearts will be the signature emblem for SS09, the runway starts of with some all over-print heart jackets and jumpers in a pastel palette, from there it jumps to washed denim dresses and rompers and starts the undeniable reference of the mid 1980’s. The bouffant hair wrapped in voluminous scarves totally capture the Bananarama iconic look. This collection looks like it was too much fun to bring to life. Although still very youthful, I feel there is a great range in this collection.
