We told you a little while ago that the trend in retouching was to get as natural as possible, so it looks that the trend is now expanding to the photoshoot itself – and it looks great ! It’s also true that its the group of people in the world who need the least retouching to begin with. Lindbergh told the Times in May, “Heartless retouching should not be the chosen tool to represent women in the beginning of this century.” No retouching, no retouching; these images still went into the hands of Pascal Dangin and he at least cleaned them up and did some color correcting, that’s for sure! Pretty much everyone already saw the Yves Saint Laurent SS09 Campaign featuring Claudia Schiffer shot by Inez and Vinoodh, but they also created a nice 28-page-manifesto which launched simultaneously in Paris, New York, Tokyo, London, Milan, Hong Kong, accompanied by a free tote and free USB key. Created to carry the YSL message to the people, this is the fourth Manifesto from Yves Saint Laurent. The objective was a further elaboration on the democratic dissimulation of fashion’s influence, spanning the capitals and beyond. ( see videos below )

wow! wow! wow! I can not even refrain from wowing here. Claudia Schiffer posing topless and in the sexiest lounge wear, looking at her absolute prime. I’ve been digging up some great old school videos of Schiffer lately, so when I saw this I really had to take do a double take to make sure it was contemporary. The June 2008 Sex issue for German VOGUE! The woman looks flawless, but I guess so do most people when touched by Testino. The only thing that came as a bit of a shocker was that it was for German VOGUE, they really went all out here.
