Vivienne Westwood is definitely one of the most influential and inspiring designers of our time. She is a fashion icon to the international fashion community, but also seen as a god to many punk rock bands. Her hardcore diamond line consists of orbs, hearts, arrows, safety pins and paper clips. The V&A Museum in London new featured exhibit is The Golden Age of Couture: Paris and London 1947-1957. It began in September and runs until January 6, 2008. It showcases pieces from Christian Dior including the original New Look which launched women’s fahion after World War II, and originals from Balenciaga, Givenchy, Hardy Amies, and Pierre Balmain.
