Magnus Unnar shoots Anouck Lepere (Belgium model and Jefferson Hack’s fiance) for the October 2009 issue of Dazed and Confused. The shoot is raw and energetic and depicts Anouck playing the role of a lowly intern at a modeling agency. Stylist Joanna Schlenzka seems to love messy backgrounds, muted tones and naughty onesies – and its a winning combination!
She came of age in My So-Called Life, she wooed Romeo behind a fish tank, romanced Steve Martin and Jason Schwartman, found (real) true love in Adam star Hugh Dancy, and now Claire Danes has also vamped it up for the The September Fall Fashion issue of Blackbook Magazine. Shot in the penthouse of Manhattan’s Cooper Square Hotel, and inspired by the ‘Greed Decade’, the shoot shows the 30-year-old actress in whole new light – channeling her inner sexiness.

The creator Mia Morikawa likes to think of her KA/POW/WOW neckpieces as “little wearable sculptures… Strap on art!!” These wearable sculptures are inspired by jacobian ruffs & natural structures such as: fruit & coral and are earth friendly as well. Mia uses Freecycle to obtain some materials. She also purchases scraps from other designers, textile factories and thrift stores as often as she can. One of these will make any outfit stand out in a crowed.
