A very distinct style from Naja Conrad-Hansen fashion illustrations. Born in Copenhagen to an artistic family, it was natural for her to choose an artistic path. She has traveled all over Europe since an early age and you can see it in her work. Her works has been included in a wide variety of fashion/graphic magazines and books. She also designs prints and patterns for different clothing labels including limited edition prints for her own brand Meannorth.

At 24 French illustrator Isaac Bonan live and work in Strasbourg. After studying art-graphic, he decided to start working has freelance illustrator. Powerful, striking, sophisticated, Rene Gruau’s (1909-2004) beautiful illustrations have without a doubt had enormous influence on modern day fashion advertising and photography. Every time I see his illustrations I am completely overcome by the shockingly beautiful lines and spareness of composition. He was a genius!

Interesting construction work from Katie Gallagher – This NY based designer created some skin-colored corsets disguised as futuristic exoskeleton rib cages, Super-Spandex waistbands, and elastic straps keeping the fabric impenetrably tight, Gallagher presents us with a striking vision of cloistered sexuality—a cold, provoking parody of nakedness. I can definitely see a some inspiration from Gareth Pugh and Yohji Yamamoto in her design – I also really like her fashion illustrations, looks like she draw her model like zombies, interesting technique for selling her collection…

Australian artist Melissa Haslam’s Illustrations combine intricate plant life and figures in often haunting landscapes. Melissa draws influence from vintage illustration, botanical art, Victorian painting, and contemporary fashion photography. Gorgeous fashion illustration work from Danish artist Mia Overgaard – A wonderful artist originally from Denmark, and trained not only through art school but is a design school graduate too…. She did her work experience with Bettina Bakdal, and is now living in New York City running her own label Miaomiao.

So now, you start to be used to our daily post on Fashion Illustrations.Today’s it’s Finnish Fashion Illustrator Laura Laine, with her girly drawings and very own style… Laura’s work is AMAZING ! Love it – At 24 she has quite a respectable resume, as she has been making the pages of Elle Girl, NY Times T Magazine, Páp Magazine and she just finished a Ad illustrations for Tommy Hilfiger in the British GQ (just to mention a couple) I assume it won’t take long until we’ll see her work in the international fashion bibles…
