Jyoti Amge is the smallest teenager in the world. She is less than 2 feet tall, and weighs less than 11 pounds!!! Despite all of this, she is a normal teenager who attends high school with all of her friends. All of her clothes and jewelry is custom made for her.

When interviewed, Jyoti proudly stated, “‘I am proud of being small. I love all the attention I get. I’m not scared of being small and I don’t regret it”.


In addition to going to school and living her life like any other teenager, she will also be releasing her own music album.

If you have never been to India, photographer Poras Chaudhary can show you the way to its heart. I have just discovered his photos and am blown away by the beauty and color that fill each frame. Many of the photos shown here are a documentation of Holi, also called the Festival of Colors, a popular Hindu spring festival observed in India, Nepal,Bangladesh. During this holiday everyone is suppose to wear white and throw themselves in colored powder which dies their clothes, skin and anything it touches. Note to self : best vacation to take your kids on!
