As the American Summer wanes, Fall looks have undoubtedly begun to circulate the minds and mouths of the fashion world. Women having the majority of say in purchasing decisions is an undeniable fact, reflected clearly through the following shoot. Supermodels taking hold of this corporate city, embracing well-tailored fitted pieces matched with looser yet structured forms. A black ensemble is set adjacent to a full blown leopard print guise [which one would assume to clash but in fact manages to blend ever so tastefully]. A plain oversized neutral coat is accented with just a tinge of metallic peeking out from beneath and those unexpected silk bunny ears Marc Jacobs got everyone talking about. And, of course, jeweled neck pieces almost overwhelming in size couldn’t hurt either. After reviewing all the mens SS09 fashion shows, there was one reoccurring trend in just about every collection and that was, head to toe monochrome. It was definitely easier to except in the white and grey hues than Gucci and Niel Barrets neon suits (not pictured here), but i do feel that Givenchy ( look 2 and 4) pulled it off in great taste.

Above is the new Georgio Armani cell phone ad. Agyness Deyn is the model in the picture, but doesn’t she look alot like Christy Turlington? She looks great, but she also looks ten years older. Amazing what makeup can do, since Agyness Deyn looks nothing like herself in the ads.

Ad season is coming up, and I’m excited to see some beautiful fashion campaigns. Quick update, M.I.A. is the face for Marc for Marc Jacobs and Olga Sherer is the model for the Lanvin ads.

Exquisite sewing skills are a fashion forecast for this fall. Truly impeccable works of art,investing in a piece or two would be smart, as these specific garments will be staples/classics.
