Rehab never looked so appealing as it does in this brilliant editorial shot by Steven Meisel for Italian Vogue, July 2007. Good work does not have an expiration tag and this concept is one that will relive time and again. Parts of the story told in SuperMods Enter Rehab was rumored to be referencing the madness that visited Brittney around the same time. Crotch shots and shaved heads may be a normal occurrence in rehab but considering the paparazzi style in which Meisel shot, its almost certain Brittany was definitely a large inspiration for this editorial. Looking back on this editorial is even crazier than it was to see it then because the super star cast including Lara, Sasha, Masha, Irina, Guinevere, Agyness, Denisa, Iselin, Missy, and Tasha seems mind blowing, all the new faces of supermodels in one massive, cracked out shoot! Carine Roitfeld and Emmanuelle Alt created one of the biggest editorial of French Vogue history: ‘ADN de la Mode‘, shot by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, every single models is present, wearing the key pieces of every single high-end designers, and if you are wonder how they booked everyone ?! Easy, during Paris Fashion Week, when pretty much everyone was in town for the runways. One outfit (or two) per model, simple background, nice lighting and that’s it! Stone, who is appearing in several spring-summer 2009 ad campaigns including Givenchy, Hugo Boss and Jean Paul Gaultier, is under a one-year contract with Chanel-owned Eres. Yay, Love for Lara !

Cyana TrendLand is confident to name Lara Stone Model of the Year for 2008. I have been noticing Lara everywhere that matters for a year now and I love her more and more each time. There is something very nostalgic to me about her look, its sends me back to the 70’s , and then back to the 90’s and at the same time it is so strong today. Her gap and actually quite a bit about her remind me of Vanessa Paradis and her raw and limitless sensibility with the camera of Kate Moss.
