Testino cut all the bullshit and got straight to the point for this fetish inspired editorial for German publication Stern, a weekly economic and political magazine which will is surely provoking its readers with this “Wicked Berlin” editorial. Well this seems pretty serious to me, a half naked top model dressed in high fashion dominatrix style strolling through the street of Berlin can redefine the boundaries of fashion photography. It will definitely be some time if ever before we see this kind of photography in US publications, but then again the US has not made its name in avant garde fashion. Carmen Kass really let out the top model in her to bring this story.
On the June 2009 VOGUE cover is the beautiful Cameron Diaz. the shoot was taken by Mario Testino. Not only Does she look gorgeous in the palm springs sun he is wearing some of the most beautiful earth friendly clothing around.

Its the number 55 entitled Surprise – The holiday issue presents intricate pop-ups by Steven Klein, Gareth Pugh, Mario Testino and Steven Meisel just to name a few… The issue collaboration is with Krug Champagne – Its more than just a Magazine, its more like an Art book, the issue features movable images, 3d scenes, and surprise reveals. I’ve been digging up some great old school videos of Schiffer lately, so when I saw this I really had to take do a double take to make sure it was contemporary. The June 2008 Sex issue for German VOGUE! The woman looks flawless, but I guess so do most people when touched by Testino. The only thing that came as a bit of a shocker was that it was for German VOGUE, they really went all out here.
