Referential/ Readymades artist Jeff Koons is exhibiting 3 pieces that have not yet been exposed to the public, on the rooftop of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. “His work explores contemporary obsessions with sexuality and desire; race and gender; and celebrity, commerce, and the media. The New York Times Style Magazine will feature a new website that will feature celebrity designer guest bloggers . Proenza Schouler designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez will kick things off on Monday, blogging a minimum of five entries throughout the week. The next week will feature Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Harold Koda and Andrew Bolton, who will blog about their upcoming exhibit, “blog.mode: addressing fashion.” In January 2008, the website with have guest bloggers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana of Dolce & Gabbana, as well as Rick Owens.
