Known for the beautiful packaging of the Louboutin and Piper Collaboration, the French design group Betc Design have an incredible selection of luxury packaging design : From Louis Vuitton, Jean-Paul Gaultier or Viktor & Rolf, I have yet to see anything they have done that is not absolutely refined.

How cool, retro and pop are these vintage Coke Cans!! Just ffffound them randomly and checked out the article from inspiredology where this beautiful collection was offered to us. ” These can designs are a great example of how some design styles never really go out of style. A few of these designs look slightly dated, yet others look as though they could have been released last week. ” I pretty much agree with them, and also if Coca Cola designers see these, they will probably release some cool retro designed cans in the next few months… Wanna bet?

Japanese industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa has created a amazing series of creative fruit juice packages that have the look and feel of the fruit they contain. He said “I imagined that if the surface of the package imitated the colour and texture of the fruit skin, then the object would reproduce the feeling of the real skin.” Genius idea ! Love it !

I think its a big mistake – Pepsi has announced that they are undergoing a drastic relaunching of their branding and packaging to bring “new life” to their flagship brands. They will now look like a cheap ‘fake’ soda brand…Sad ( even tho im more a Coke drinker ) [ via the Dieline ]
