So I went on a crash course of German artist, Tim Eitel’s work after spotting his oil painting Boot, 2004 in a magazine. It’s hard not to be fascinated by the enigmatic image of a couple rowing through an interior space, the mystery of the narrative just sort of slaps you in the face and then draws you in closer.
