Continuing with the pop-up store phenomenon that we seem to be in the midst of,Louis Vuitton has teamed up with Japanese retail brand Seibu (info), in opening a temporary outlet in Seibu’s gigantic Ikebukuro department store in Tokyo  – The Louis Vuitton/ Underground/ goes with a raw and industrial look and is completely different in terms of interior than other Vuitton spaces. Maybe you weren’t in LA when the Lichtenberg pop-up store began at New High Mart. The opening party was a success, but more importantly this bold experiment in retail marketing is taking off, especially with the recent Paper Magazine 24 Hour Pop up store.
