I don’t know if its really comfortable to be restricting in one of these latex contraptions, but visually it looks great. And if I remember well, I think I saw some editorials in the past mixing latex/S&M props with some high fashion outfits…

Cent Magazine is a UK based, bi-annual publication that celebrates creativity in all its forms. ” We use no journalists, instead creatives themselves write about their own creative process.” Each issue is guest edited by a different creative who chooses a title that is core to their artistic process.

Vampire/S&M style is the first impression I had of new UK based Womenswear label: Afira – The Collection is inspired by the strong, dark, archetypal woman, glamorous, passionate and heroic, from both past and present. Vamps, femme fatales and dominant women tell the stories. Leather, straps and some sheer are the main fabrics for their first collection, apparently they dont have any stockists yet, as they have barely launched…Stay tuned.

Check out this American Psycho inspired fashion editorial for the upcoming June Issue of Dazed & Confused. Shot by Matt Irwin and styled by Robbie Spencer ,”There are obvious nods to American Psycho in the story,” says Irwin. “But what i really wanted to get across was a feeling of decomposition – of a situation degrading, becoming worse and irreversible.” Matt Irwin really likes to shoot these raw s&m inspired images. This editorial looks great!

I remember having a hard time trying to categorize this brand when I first introduced it in January (see here). British designer Alex Pop calls her collection Bodywear, a term more commonly associated with yoga or work-out clothes, but welcome to a whole new world! Bordelle’s absolutely refreshing and equally innovative designs have won the praise of major industry personage including Selfridges Director of Lingerie, Sebastian Manes and Celebrity Stylist William Baker.

Bordelle is the newest and coolest addition to the Selfridges Lingerie department. Created by London based designer Alex Popa, Bordelle is a niche and unusual concept in lingerie, which Alex describes as Bodywear. The Bordelle aesthetic offers high fashion, directional pieces that can be worn asunder or outerwear. Body conscious lines and a silhouette bandaged by a mix of ribbons, fabrics and trims are the line’s distinctive signature.
