The Lookbook for Susana Monaco’s Winter collection is simple, chic, yet high detailed. The clothes are lovely as usual but the head wear is what grabs your attention! The black Fleurette hat, the giant blue flower turban, and the top hat are just the beginning, more here.

My Prediction for Fall Shoes is that there is going to be a lot of buckles, bows, and variations on last year’s trends ( ie. oxfords, ballet flats, and gladiators).

I was standing at the Magic trade show two years ago, taken back at the lack of creativity and development of certain clothing brands. To my left was all-over print t-shirt company with shirts resembling a box of crayons symbolically melted with no creative direction, while to my right were diamond bedazzled shirts summing simple t-shirt to feel like a wet rag draped over a body.

I couldn’t resist bringing up this photo from the Spellbound editorial out of V mag’s November 07 issue. The Styling is absolutely phenomenal in this shot and I dont think I have ever seen a more fabulous coat. Few words can measure the greatness of this shot so I’ll leave it to the viewers to indulge.
Coat by Giorgio Armani, boots by Marjan Pejoski

I just never saw her having any interest in politics. I wonder what she could have to ask?

The Darjeeling Limited Marc Jacobs and Wes Anderson
The Darjeeling Limited has been a well-received movie these days, and I just read in the La Times that the movies’ quirky, polished look was a colloboration with Marc Jacobs and the director Wes Anderson. Anderson’s movies have a distinct style, just as he has his own, personalized look ( shrunken suits). These two trendsetters teamed up for new look, and the next time you watch the movie on dvd, take a closer look at the wardrobe.

Chloe Christian Lacroix Marni
It’s getting colder in LA these days, so instead of deciding whether to wear your leather jacket, mink sable, or knit pea-coat, why not get one coat that incorporates all your favorite materials?
