Shiro’s SQ media player takes a sustainable approach to playing your mp3s and videos. On the rear panel of the SQ, a solar cell generates electricity from direct sunlight– enough to fully charge the unit in four hours. Beyond the stardard mp3/wav/wma playback, the Shiro SQ also includes an FM tuner and a small mic for voice recording. While we have only seen poor renderings at this point (note that the above is a collage of the rear of the SQ and the front of the VT), but pictures, pricing and release dates will likely hit the web soon. - via Gear Crave

The Posso’s tipped me off to L.A. City Zine’s article, ‘The World’s First Weed ATM at Your Service”. Unbelievable! If that’s not a boobie trap than I don’t know what to call it. The world’s first marijuana vending machine is to launch on Monday, January 28th 2008, in our city of L.A. , just on the corner of Melrose and Western. All you have to do is have a club card and leave your fingerprint to the D.E.A.
Oh and there is one restriction, you can only buy one ounce a week, so if you truly need it, you’ re in trouble.

I love the new product they introduced on Thinkgeek
The BluAlert bracelet uses Bluetooth technology to buzz discretely on your wrist when your phone rings. Even in the loudest room, or the most boisterous dance-floor, you won’t miss it when BlueAlert goes off. Even better, BluAlert acts like a security device! Once paired with your phone, if it should suddenly find itself more than 5 meters away, BlueAlert buzzes. Not only will you never miss a call, you’ll never lose your phone.

The M++ Card combine a business card and a usb memory system, people will remember you for sure and you’ll be able to put more informations than just your phone, address…You can put your portfolio, your music or your video for example… Amazing idea and welcome to the future ! ahah
