What I like about V Magazine is that they are always innovative with their covers and editorials, for this special ‘Victorian meets Butcher and Flowerist’ called the “World of Women & Supreme” (you can see eyeballs, severed animal feet and intestines as necklaces) – The “World of Women & Supreme” photographed by Paul Rowland and styled by Nicholas Grasa is a special edition of V Magazine that will be sold with the new issue, V61. I feel kind of oblige to do a post about the New Swimsuit issue of V magazine, even tho its a little bit all over the web already, A beautiful cover collection and editorial of the hottest models (in HI-RES) shot by ‘El Grande’ Mario Testino. Plus a little video bonus for you guys…
This was a really cool way to turn a basic fashion story into an extremely dynamic visual explosion of shape and color. A little photoshop can go a long way. 21st Century Raquel (Zimmerman) was shot by Karl Lagerfeld and styled by Charlotte Stockdale for the last issue of V magazine.
The Beauty Industry is one of the closest friends of the Fashion Industry, we can use beauty to tell a whole fashion story without even showing one garment. Yu Tsai lives between Los Angeles and New York, he’s work is just beautiful ! He works with all the biggest publications like V magazine, Flaunt, GQ, Harper’s, Arena ( he is the one who shot the Arena UK I wrote about here )… I shot as well some Celebrity including Sienna Miller, Rosario Dawson, Ewan Mc Gregor, Zooey Deschanel and more… I love his work ! I Love !
I couldn’t resist bringing up this photo from the Spellbound editorial out of V mag’s November 07 issue. The Styling is absolutely phenomenal in this shot and I dont think I have ever seen a more fabulous coat. Few words can measure the greatness of this shot so I’ll leave it to the viewers to indulge.
